Held every year in February in Ludhiana, this game festival is a destination for sports enthusiasts.
Various competitions are held that have social & cultural importance in the state of Punjab.
The tradition of rural sports was introduced by Guru Hargobindji to toughen the frames & steal the minds of his followers. Since then, it has become a major part of the culture of Punjab.
Competitions are held for major Punjabi rural sports, including cart-race, athletic events, and rope pulling.
Games like wrestling, running, jumping, weightlifting, holding wrists, twisting hands, kabaddi, etc have been some of the major sports played.
On a similar line of thought, these games started to be organized in various villages across Punjab. Although the most popular one still remains in Qila Raipur.

By Air

You can easily get flights till Chandigarh or Amritsar, from there you can take up a local bus or train.
You can also choose from a list of connecting flights to Ludhiana Airport which is only 19 kilometers from the village.

By Train

Since all the major cities are connected by trains, so there is no problem in reaching Ludhiana from the train, from Ludhiana multiple local trains are available till Kila Raipur.

By Road

Roads are also well connected and you can take up a bus or taxi in order to reach Qila Raipur.
